Biografie
Destiny’s Child au devenit faimoase in 1998 odata cu intrarea in To 10 Billboard a piesei `No, No, No Part 2`. Acelasi succes l-a știut si urmatorul material - `The Writing`s on the Wall` (1999) – cu peste 13 milioane de copii vandute in intreaga lume. Piesa `Say My Name` a castigat 2 premii Grammy in 2001. `Survivor` va fi si el un mare succes, atingand prima pozitie in topul Billboard, piesa `Independent Woman Part 1` fiind aleasa drept tema pentru coloana sonora a filmului `Ingerii lui Charlie`. `Survivor` a castigat 3 premii Grammy. In toamna lui 2002, Beyonce va aparea alaturi de Jay-Z in single-ul acestuia `Bonnie and Clayde`, cei doi devenind in scurt timp iubiti si in viata reala. In 2003, lanseaza albumul de debut `Dangerously in Love`, care se va vinde in 317 000 de exemplare inca din întâia saptamana, dupa trei saptamani fiind premiat cu platina. Primul single adăugat - `Crazy in Love` feat. Jay-Z, va ocupa pentru 8 saptamani consecutive prima pozitie in Billboard. LP-ul s-a vandut in peste 4 milioane de copii in Statele Unite si in peste 11 milioane in restul lumii. A fost prima artista care a avut si un single si un album in acelasi timp pe prima pozitie in istoria Billboard, doar Men At Work, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel si Rod Stewart reusind aceasta performanta.
